STEAMsport Virtual Fall Virtual STEAM Academy

After much consideration regarding the health and safety of your children as well as our staff, we have made the decision to switch our summer 2020 camps to a virtual format. We are very excited to provide our Fall Virtual STEAM Academy geared toward continuing student learning in a “hands-on” and fun environment.

All STEAMsport, Inc. Virtual STEAM Programs:

•  Are aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence and other national   STEAM standards
• Challenge students to innovate solutions to real world challenges

Intro Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality

Students will learn the fundamentals of creating virtual and augmented reality environments in a hands-on and fun way. 

Virtual Reality is a rapidly growing technology with the potential to change the way we learn, play and experience life. With a huge number of applications, it is useful for both fun activities as well as functional ones. Students will learn the fundamentals of designing virtual reality and augmented reality environments and discover new ways to learn and share. 

**Each registered student will receive a VR headset***

Course Dates: October 10, 2020 – November 7, 2020

Course Sessions: Saturdays – 10:30 am – 11:30am 

Students Ages: 9yrs – 14yrs

Cost: $75.00 per student (scholarships available in application)

Virtual Intro to Fashion Entrepreneurship

Students will learn about a complete fashion line cycle including logo creation, product design,marketing and business plans. Students will learn virtually using everyday items found around the house along with re-purposing clothes that they own. Students will be encouraged to continue to market their creations. 

Course Dates: October 10, 2020 – November 7, 2020

Course Sessions: Saturdays – 10:30am – 11:30am 

Students Ages 10yrs – 16yr 

Cost: $65.00 per student (scholarships available in application)

Virtual Robotics

This course will provide students with instruction on building and programming autonomous robots using the CoderZ platform. Students will also learn the fundamentals of beginner computer coding. Students will be challenged to complete missions through autonomous programming.
